Debbie has been living and working in North Carolina for more than 30 years. As an artist, she creates work referencing forms in the natural world using materials of the earth including clay and metal.
Debbie began her art career working in ceramics in the mid 1990's. After spending some years working as a hobbyist she decided to make her passion her profession. Debbie received an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Professional Arts and Crafts:Sculpture from Central Carolina Community College in 2013 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in sculpture from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2016.
Currently, Debbie creates functional pottery and ceramic sculpture in her pottery studio in Chapel Hill. Debbie's work is available for purchase at
